...and continuing from yesterday, here's the second month of our quarantine in Instagram stories. This was a hard month. We lost our Poppy at the end of April and couldn't even really grieve with the rest of our family. What an awful time to be separated from the ones we love. Still, we've made the best of our time at home together. We've explored books, nature, art, music, and so much more than we would normally have had the chance to. It's all been a mixed blessing for sure.
Well, that's it for now, but this will likely be the format for at least another blog post or two. School is canceled for the remainder of the school year. We're still waiting to hear whether or not the summer rec program is happening. In general, a lot of things are on hold.
But as exhausted as mommy is from the schooling and managing everyone's needs (from wi-fi connectivity to endless snacks to emotional support) I can say this without hesitation: I'm so proud of you both and my love for you is growing every day!
