Dear Maya and Emi,
Happy Halloween 2022! So much has happened since the last time I posted in here. You've both started a new school year (6th & 3rd), joined new clubs (FFA for Maya and Drama for Emi), and oh yeah, we moved to a new house! Here are the highlights...
- We spent time with our extended family apple picking, and celebrating Uncle Matt's birthday. I didn't take many photos, though.
- Emi, you and mommy performed at a food truck festival! We both played ukulele and mommy sang along with one of your songs. Oh, and there was face painting and henna, too!
- We moved! It was just a short distance and we love our new space, but moving is hard! You said goodbye to the cows and now you both have a new yard to play in...plus, your own rooms!
- We spent a day in NYC to renew Japanese passports. We went to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Disney Store, Lego Store...and a Japanese bookstore! Again, we didn't take many photos.
- Halloween festivities!! We went to nanny's house Wednesday, school Trunk or Treat Friday, magical photos at grandma's house Saturday, treats from the Bartlett House Sunday, and today was finally Halloween! You were both in the parade at school today (nice job drumming, Maya!) and then trick or treating tonight. So much celebrating, and so much candy!

Well that was a lot of photos and a lot of fun but it's time to get some rest. Love you both!
